Simple and Convenient
Direct Access
When you call or text, you will have direct access to me. No need to go through a phone tree or a nurse to get answers to your questions or make an appointment.
Communication
I am available 7 days a weeks to answer questions.
Home Visits
I will come to your student. They don’t have to leave their dorm, apartment or house to get medical care.
Parental Reassurance
With your student’s permission, I am able to provide you with the reassurance you need when your child is unwell and far from home.

Care
Same or next day appointments when you are not feeling well.
Medication

I am able to dispense medication at urgent care visits; no extra trips to the pharmacy.

I manage medications for chronic conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, and asthma.

How does Campus Care MD Work?Once enrolled your student is connected directly to Dr. Markman who’s available by phone or text—no apps, portals, or call centers. Whether they’re feeling sick, need a prescription, or just have a health question, they get timely, personalized care from someone who knows their medical history. We also help coordinate any needed follow-up, labs, or referrals, ensuring seamless support throughout the school year.

How do in Person Visits Work?Dr. Markman will come to your student’s dorm, apartment or house for in person appointments. Or if they prefer, they can see her in the office.

The membership seems expensive — is it really worth it?Yes — especially when your student is far from home. A single medical issue can quickly lead to unexpected costs like last-minute flights, hotels, and time off work. And you are still left with navigating an unfamiliar medical system. With Campus Care MD, your student has direct access to a physician who knows their history and can provide immediate, personalized care—avoiding unnecessary travel or ER visits. Membership includes unlimited access, even on weekends and after hours.

Can you coordinate care with specialists or mental health providers?Yes — We work closely with local hospitals, specialists, and mental health providers. We coordinate care as needed to ensure your student receives comprehensive support.

How soon can my student be seen?Students are seen within 24 hours, with same or next day appointments available.

What if I need labs or X-rays?Labs and X-rays will be done at labs and imaging centers close to campus. Results will come to Dr. Markman directly and be uploaded into our electronic medical record.

What is not included in the membership?Labs and imaging conducted outside of Campus Care M.D. will be charged to your insurance. If you want the convenience of having certain medications dispensed to you during your visit ,the cost of the medication will be billed to you at discounted prices.

What types of Medication can be dispensed at appointments?Antibiotics, antiemetics, steroids and over the counter medications such as acetaminophen, ibuprofen and antihistamines. Any medications that are not carried will be called into your local pharmacy.

Can a student's health information be shared with parents?When students enroll, they will have the opportunity to sign a release of information to decide what information they want shared with family. With their consent, Dr. Markman will reach out to parents to offer updates and reassurance.
